Many of us are guarded when it comes to sharing our thoughts and feelings with people. You should be willing to share your thoughts and feelings with the people you love.
Sharing means you need to be vulnerable. Yet, your behavior can encourage others to do the same. You can serve as a positive role model if you let those around you have an insight into what you are thinking and feeling. You will be surprised how what you share may motivate others to provide support which may be of help.
In the last couple of years I have been sharing my thoughts through my blogs. I feel an obligation to share my experiences and knowledge to help others. I also want to leave advice in written form for my grandchildren. I believe that they will benefit from my advice in the future.
Sharing thoughts and feelings are important, but they should reflect things that will benefit the wellbeing of others. Exceptions such as feelings of depression are important because it gives those around you an opportunity to provide encouragement and ideas that can make you feel better. I encourage you to share.
