You should not spend time thinking about things that make you sad. When you are sad, determine what you can do to feel happy. If you make an effort to be happy, you can be happy.
If the sadness is a result of someone that you lost, try and focus on the good memories that you have of that person. If your sadness is a result of your financial situation, determine what actions you can take to be more financially secure. If your sadness is a result of a failed relationship, determine what you can do to fix it and if it can’t be fixed, be prepared to move on. If the sadness is a result of your environment, make every effort to change the environment.
There are many things that make each of us sad. You need to make sure that this sadness does not change to depression. Initially you should attempt to change sadness to happiness. Do not hesitate in seeking the help of others. When you are sad, be diligent about doing things that make you happy.
