Practice sessions with students: Although similar to the 3hour/6 hour workshops, special practice sessions could be conducted after school. These sessions could focus on either Number Sense, Calculator Applications and/or Mathematics. These sessions would allow me to conduct a practice session at the beginning, intermediate or advanced level after school. Opportunities for question and answer sessions would be made available. The sessions could be for 1 hour, two hours or three hours. These sessions make it possible for students to attend after school hours. Materials would be developed and sent in advanced so that copies could be made for participants. Possible sessions could be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., etc. These workshops could be scheduled from Monday through Friday. A contract could be drawn that would bring me to your school as often as I am needed (once a month, once every two months, etc.). View samples of currently available materials on my website.
The fee would be $100 for the first hour and $50 for each additional hour. I would need to receive reimbursement for meals, travel and hotel (the hotel expense requirement depends on the distance needed to travel from McAllen). There is no one in the state that combines my years of experience in UIL Number Sense, Calculator Applications and Mathematics, my success in those events, and the numerous workbooks and practice materials that I have authored since 1983. I know that my materials have impacted more students and teachers than any other individual in Texas. I know that I have the motivational skills and expertise that can have a positive impact in your school or school district. - Subject of the session: Number Sense, Calculator Applications, and/or Mathematics. Note: it is possible to do a session that includes more than one area.
- Level of session: Beginning, Intermediate, or Advanced. If participants require a combination of levels please specify.
- Deadline for sending materials to be copied. Specify maximum length of materials that can be copied.
- Information about contact person. Include name, email address, mailing address, daytime phone and night time phone numbers.
